Dr. Angel M. Rios, MD, FACOG, a native of Puerto Rico, graduated with distinction from The University Of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras, with a B.S. degree in Chemistry. Obtained his medical degree at The University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine (LCME) in San Juan, internship and residency at the University Hospital (ACGME), San Juan.
Upon completion of his residency program, was appointed Assistant Professor for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Rios is Board Certified by The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologist (ABOG) and Fellow of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG). Member of The American Medical Association and Texas Medical Association (TMA).
Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Sierra Medical Center (1999-2000).
Board Member of Sierra Providence Health Network.
Private practice in El Paso Texas since 1993.
Secretary El Paso County Medical Society 2000-2001. Vice-President El Paso County Medical Society 2001-2002. President Elect County Medical Society 2002-2003. President of El Paso County Medical Society 2004-2005.
TMA Delegate: 2000-to present.
TMA Board of Socioeconomics: 2002 to present.
