Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday 9:00 to 12:00 noon. By appointment only.
Appointments
To minimize waiting time, patients are seen by appointment only. Please telephone the office regarding urgent problems and we will strive to accommodate you as soon as possible. If you are going to be late or are unable to keep your appointment, please call as early as possible. Please be sure to bring any current medications with you for your initial visit.
Telephone calls and prescription refills will be addressed at the end of the morning and evening so as not to interfere with ongoing patient care. Please allow for ample time in processing you refills.
After hour Emergencies
In the event you should have an emergency after-hours call our regular office number. The answering service will forward your message and your call will be returned at the earliest opportunity. After you have phoned the answering service, please leave your phone line open so that you may be contacted.
If you have a life-threatening emergency, or go into labor, call 911 or go immediately to the emergency room of one of the hospital cover by Dr. Rios service (Sierra Medical Center) and the hospital personal or the physician from the emergency room will contact him.
After-hours calls should be limited only to situations that cannot wait until regular office hours, such as problems which are causing undue distress, or symptoms which have appeared rapidly and or are progressing rapidly. Please do not call the office after hours for test results, prescription refills or appointments. To ensure patient confidentiality, no test results are provided by phone.
