Countdown to Justice?

We must begin anew with this article as we have inadvertently deleted the original page while trying to post pdf files for the first time.   As the home page says, "patience is a virtue"!

This new section of the Smoot Debacle deals with matters before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit which will be decided shortly, hopefully before the end of the Regional Meetings but that might be asking too much given the bleak history so far.

The question at issue in the 6th Circuit? May a union and a carrier violate federal labor laws under the guise of the federal wiretap act.  The position of the UTU and CSXT have never changed in this case, as now well documented in their appeal briefs:

How dare you have the audacity to

catch us lying and cheating?

Yes, it is a sad tale about union  and carrier corruption that involves severe abuse of process of the federal court system and an unrelenting prosecution and persecution of a union member (and his family) who inadvertantly caught them "red handed" in the act!  Their (UTU and CSXT) position is actually rather simple; we cheated Smoot fair and square in the PLB and in the courts, we ought to be able to maintain our VICTORY?    Hell, read their filings when I get them on this site and you decide what it is they are really asking for?   Anticipated articles under this Page include, but are not limited to:

CSXT 6th Circuit Brief!

UTU 6th Circuit Brief!

The Unknown Victim of Linda Tripp?

The Evidence?

Motion for Recusal?

Numerous other items as necessary!
