Apathy or just "Fear"?

   I guess " congratulations" are in order for the "huge" victory of the "Armageddon Agreement"?  3 to 1 Victory?   Impressive . . . , until you realize 70% of the members didn't vote! What's wrong here?

    Sure, those that wanted the agreement and those that were paid to support it voted "YES".  Those that knew it was inferior and another concession obviously voted "NO".  So WHAT HAPPENED TO THE 70% OF OUR MEMBERSHIP THAT DIDN'T VOTE???

    They fall into two categories in my opinion: Fear or Apathy!  Fear are those that couldn't vote for this agreement with a clear conscience so decided to "abstain" in the hopes it would pass and they would continue to have a "good" job!  Apathy was those that opposed the agreement but knew it didn't make any difference if it passed of failed - they KNEW it was the agreement and their vote meant nothing!

    That this "organiztion" may be unitied as never before is "damage control" for the current hierarchy that believes that if you tell the lie enough, it will become fact! While I am personally apalled by the vote totals and the agreement itself, it would be folley for the hierarchy to assume they can coast to Miami 2003 with the belief they will control the "delegate elections" as they did this agreement.  If the turnout for "delegate" exhibits the same apathy and fear, "little sac-bb" and his entourage are a shoe in for "coronation" and the last four years so many of the hierarchy pray they "rightfully" deserve! "Pray" because many of them know how bad "Smoot" was and how bad this union has "represented" it's members!  But they make over $350 a day 7 days a week plus numerous "perks"; they have to be "loyal"!

    Hey, not to late to donate $25 to the "El Paso Express" and get a "express yourself" shirt?  Fit for wearing at the New Orleans meeting in an attempt to show you believe in "free speech"; not fit for any of you who didn't vote on this agreement!
