The OSCAR Study Page began in the summer of 1996 and it's offspring, the newsgroup alt.aquaria.oscars followed a year later. The El Paso Community College's Rio Grande FreeNet was essential in the creation of both of these projects. The OSCAR Study Page remains the oldest and most respected species-specific Aquaria website on the internet!
