C&A:

Charlie Christian’s first live solo on Honeysuckle Rose is another gem.  Measures 8 and 9 have the pedal root, octave, Maj7 that he played a month before but this time it’s not repeated for three bars—and it’s not right after the bridge as is usual.  This is where Charles really gets going on his solo.

An excellent bridge where at bar 18 he plays a couple of open-string notes to set himself up for another pedal root, this time with four ascending chromatic notes.  CC closes the bridge out with a beautiful slide at bar 22 followed by a familiar lick containing another open string.

There are several repeated Bbs played on alternating strings at mm 26-28 before Charles dances his way out on the last three measures.
